“This St. Louis City SC U20 side is raring to go, and very excited for the National Finals. We played a lot of great competitive teams to get to this stage, and we feel as if we have improved each game throughout the regular season and these playoffs. Our motivation in joining the UPSL was to give our young players as many challenges and varied experiences as possible, and this competition has done just that.”
After a Quarterfinal showdown between two of the UPSL’s best attacking teams, St. Louis City Academy secured their spot at the Finals with a 1-0 win over Florida Premier SC. The team has scored 14 goals in the last four playoff games and is showing no signs of slowing. With 51 goals scored this season, St. Louis City has one of the highest goal scoring records in the UPSL.
“Our UPSL playoff journey has provided this group with many difficult and unconventional challenges. This upcoming National Final is something we have prepared for all season, and we are hoping to rise to the occasion.
