UPSL Fall 2022 National Finals Set for Championship Soccer Stadium (Irvine, CA)

October 26th, 2022

Miami, Florida – The United Premier Soccer League (UPSL) is excited to announce the dates for the Fall 2022 Regional Finals, as well as the host city for its National Finals.

This year, the UPSL is proud to bring the UPSL National Finals back to the Los Angeles area. Great Park in Irvine, California is one of the largest athletic complexes in the region featuring 24 soccer fields, 12 baseball fields and a world-class, 2,500-seat soccer-specific venue known as Championship Soccer Stadium. The stadium also serves as the home for professional soccer team Orange County SC of the USL Championship, as well as other top-level pro and semi-pro clubs in the area.

UPSL Commissioner and California-native Yan Skwara spoke about the excitement surrounding the UPSL National Finals returning to Championship Soccer Stadium.

“Bringing the UPSL National Finals back to southern California is special for us, because this is where the UPSL first started. It is also home to some of our most competitive conferences and toughest teams. The UPSL is excited to come back to Great Park, we had a very successful UPSL National Finals here in the past, and we can’t wait to return to this state-of-the-art facility.” Skwara explains.

The two National semi-finals games are set to kick off on Friday, February 3rd with the National Championship match played two days later on Sunday, February 5th. All games will be broadcasted live by VYRE Network.
