The Road to the UPSL Fall Season National Championship Ends in Irvine This January

September 11th, 2026

This January, the final four teams left standing in the UPSL National Playoffs will travel to Championship Soccer Stadium at Great Park in Irvine, California, to fight for the biggest prize in pre-professional soccer.

After months of competition across UPSL conferences nationwide, only four clubs will remain.

The UPSL National Playoff Bracket pulls together qualifying clubs from across the country for a true knockout gauntlet. Every round eliminates more contenders. By the time the dust settles on the Road to Irvine, only four clubs will still be standing.

And what awaits them in Irvine isn’t just another championship weekend. It is the most elite championship in American pre-professional soccer.

The UPSL National Championship puts the league’s last remaining clubs on the field for the richest prize purse in pre-professional soccer and the title of UPSL Fall Season National Champion.

And the stage matches the significance of the moment.

Located in the heart of Southern California soccer country, Championship Soccer Stadium at Great Park is a premier soccer venue. Most recently, it served as the official Team Base Camp training site for the U.S. Men’s National Team during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

This January, UPSL’s final four will take that same field with the Fall Season National Championship, with the league’s richest championship purse on the line

The National Semifinals kick off January 29. The two winners return January 31 for the UPSL National Final.

Four teams. Two semifinal winners. One national champion.

For the clubs that reach Irvine, this is the culmination of an entire season of competition. It is the opportunity to represent their community and region on a national stage, compete against the best remaining teams in the country and win the most prestigious championship in pre-professional soccer.

Stay tuned: the full National Playoffs format, key dates, and championship prize money will be announced as the Road to Irvine takes shape.
