Foro SC’s Blaine Ferri Signs for Lexington SC in USL Championship
Foro Soccer Club midfielder Blaine Ferri has signed with Lexington Sporting Club of the USL Championship, the Kentucky-based club announced. Ferri joins Lexington on a 25-day contract, marking a return to the USL for the 24-year-old after playing with FC Tulsa in the past.
Ferri featured for Foro SC during the Spring 2025 UPSL Premier Division season, helping guide the club to a first-place finish in the Texas North Conference. Foro SC went undefeated at home and earned eight wins while posting one of the highest goal tallies in the region with 38 goals scored. Ferri’s leadership and experience were key contributors to the team’s standout campaign.
The Southlake, Texas native previously competed for North Texas SC and Fort Lauderdale CF in USL League One, as well as Greuther Fürth II in Germany. His development included time representing the United States at multiple youth national team levels, including at the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
By signing with Lexington SC, Ferri strengthens the club’s midfield options at a pivotal moment in its season. Known for his versatility, composure, and work rate, he is expected to make an immediate impact as Lexington continue to push in the USL Championship. His transfer highlights the UPSL Premier Division’s impact, providing a platform for players looking to return to or break through at the pro level.
