Former UPSL National Finals MVP Yan Diomande Completes Transfer to Real Madrid

Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of former UPSL National Finals MVP Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig, marking another remarkable milestone in one of soccer’s fastest-rising careers.

Just one year after completing a record-breaking move to RB Leipzig, the former UPSL standout has earned a transfer to one of the most successful and recognizable clubs in world soccer.

Earlier this summer, Diomande made his senior debut for the Ivory Coast National Team at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Starting in his first World Cup appearance, he delivered a standout performance and was named Player of the Match, announcing himself on the biggest stage in the sport.

Diomande’s rise has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Just three years ago, he was playing semi-professional soccer in the UPSL Premier Division with AS Frenzi.
