UPSL Spring National Final Preview – Sporting Wichita SC (Wichita, KS) vs. AS Frenzi (Orlando, FL)
Tomorrow, the UPSL National Final is set to be decided between two of the highest-scoring teams in the UPSL Premier Division. Undefeated, Midwest top team Sporting Wichita SC (8-2-0) will take on Florida’s top pro-development team AS Frenzi (9-1-1) to see who is crowned Spring 2023 National Champion.
UPSL National Third Place Match
Before the Final takes place, the third-place match will be decided between one of the best teams from the West, CD Delfines de Abasolo (8-1-1) and top semi-pro side Chicago Nation FC (9-1-0). After a thrilling Semifinal round on Friday that saw 12 goals in two matches, the action continues this Sunday for all four teams.
In Friday’s first Semifinal match, AS Frenzi began the game with quick attacking play that saw them score early and often. Despite Chicago Nation almost mounting a comeback at a few times in the match, AS Frenzi were able to finish the game with a strong 6-3 victory. In the second Semifinal matchup, Sporting Wichita SC flexed their muscles and were able to put three goals past a very talented CD Delfines side in 3-0 victory—handing Delfines just their second loss of the season. This pits Chicago Nation FC against CD Delfines de Abasolo in an epic third-place showdown.

This Sunday, two strong attacking sides will be on display in what is expected to be a fast-paced, high-scoring game. Set to take place at Segra Field, USL Championship-side Loudoun United’s home stadium, all four teams are prepared for an epic showdown at this National Championship event. AS Frenzi will seek to become National Champions with a youthful, high-flying squad, while Sporting Wichita are looking to cap off an undefeated season with a national title.
