UPSL Fall National Finals Preview
This weekend, the UPSL National Finals are set to take place with the top four semi-professional sides from across the US, travelling to Southern California to determine who is the UPSL Fall 2022 National Champion.
After a thrilling quarterfinal round that saw 18 total goals across the final four games, the matchups have been set. The Semifinals are set to kick off this Friday at Championship Soccer Stadium, in Irvine, CA. The winners here will move on to play the UPSL National Finals on Sunday.
First on Friday, undefeated SCU Heat, from Columbia, South Carolina, take on Santa Cruz FC from Boston, Massachusetts. Later that evening, Olympians FC from Pheonix, Arizona play Rush ACM3 from El Paso, Texas. All four teams are currently on at least a six-game winning streak having made it this far in the competition.
This season’s National Finals returns to the Southern California-area, the birthplace of the league. The mild temperatures, beautiful grass pitch and first-class soccer facility will provide an ideal setting for the National Final event.
